Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss, a bluegrass fiddler from Tennessee who was 19 years old, became a national celebrity in 1990 after receiving the Grammy Award in 1990 for Best Bluegrass Album. It was a feat of awe in many ways, not just because Krauss was young, and also due to the fact that I've Got That Old Feeling was the third album of her library. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. The album was released in Champaign Illinois as she was 16. In the year 14 she signed with Rounder Records - one of the world's most respected folk music labels. The accomplishments of Krauss at this young age, as well as her virtuosity, are consistently confirmed by her ability to kept her commitment to bluegrass music - one of America's most enduring and least well-known musical genres. Krauss was now maturing from being a teenager phenom to a professional music producer and musician.
