Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota - journalist, author, host of CNN's "New day" morning program, Westport resident and Westport Country Playhouse trustee - has been elected to the Westport Country Playhouse board. Camerota's thirty years in journalism has seen her write stories across the country and abroad. She has been awarded several awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award as well as an Emmy Award. As part of other trustee board' transitions Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford is named an honorary trustee following her service as a trustee since 2007 Anna Czekaj-Farber from Westport was elected as the chair after serving on the board since 2013. Czekaj Farber succeeds Barbara Streicker from Westport who was chair of the board during the last year, and has continued to serve in this role since.
