Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American stage and screen actor and producer. She is best known as a film actress due to her work as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She has a Bachelor's degree in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis works as a writer and actress who works in theater, film and TV. Her career began as an actor in theater but then proceeded to make appearances in numerous TV shows, both mainstream and independent films. She gained fame as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. In the BET's massive series The Book of Negroes she appeared. Not only did she receive critical acclaim for her character, she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut with The Tempest as Ariel. The credits on stage are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production by Joe Turner. Her film career began in the late 1990s. she is most well-known for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Also, she is well-known for her part in ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
